Nov. 3, 2010 – Martin Marietta Materials Inc., a maker of construction materials, said Tuesday that its third-quarter net income fell 6.3 percent as prices for its road-building materials declined.
The company earned $52 million, or $1.13 per share, down from $55.5 million, or $1.23 per share a year earlier. Revenue rose 4.4 percent to $509.3 million, from $488 million a year earlier. | READ MORE
