Andy Bateman 2010 Atlantic Heavy Equipment Show a winner
Written by Andy Bateman
The 2010 Atlantic Heavy Equipment Show (AHES) was by far the largest ever, showcasing more exhibitors, more floor space and nearly 12 thousand visitors. From its small beginnings in 1986, the AHES has evolved into the Maritimes’ largest heavy equipment show to the point where this year’s show, the 13th, was a tight squeeze for show organizers in the Moncton Coliseum on April 8-9, 2010. The Canadian Woodlands Forum scheduled its 2010 Spring Meeting to coincide with this year’s AHES, so the show once again attracted a significant forestry and logging audience in addition to the heavy equipment and road building sectors.

Over 200 AHES exhibitors included the familiar big names, together with multiple suppliers of specialist equipment, support services and technology. Show producer Master Promotions Ltd. reports that bookings are already well underway for AHES 2012.
