January 7, 2010 - The environmental disaster scenarios keep coming on the supposed impacts of quarry operations. Here is a new twist.
There was more good news for the Coalition of Concerned Citizens in their
fight against the Rockfort Quarry proposal. Town councillors voted unanimously
against the proposal of James Dick Construction Limited.
“This is the Exxon Valdez waiting to happen in Caledon,” Councillor Doug
Beffort declared, “and I do not support it.”
